Can I use the address for my trade registration?

Yes, you can register our address as your business address; our contract serves as proof. Whether it is accepted as business premises is decided case by case by the responsible trade office.

Can I set up a GmbH or UG with this address?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the address can serve as registered seat and German business address – already for the notary appointment. Registration is reviewed by the register court (in Berlin: Amtsgericht Charlottenburg).

Can I use the address in my website imprint?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Because we accept your mail – including formal deliveries – at this address, it qualifies as an address for service in your imprint under § 5 DDG. This is not a substitute for individual legal advice.

Why do I need to show ID?

Business address providers are required by the German Anti-Money Laundering Act (GwG) to identify their clients. We need your ID card or passport – for companies also a commercial register extract and details of the beneficial owners.

How soon can I use the address?

Right after the contract is signed and your identification is complete. From then on you can give the address to authorities, the notary and in your imprint.

How does mail forwarding work – and what does postage cost?

Once a week we send all letters received, bundled, to the address you choose. On top of the monthly fee of €19.50, postage and packaging are charged at actual cost.

Who receives my scanned letters?

You decide: yourself, your tax advisor, your colleagues – as many email addresses as you like. Optionally with rules by letter type, e.g. invoices only to accounting.

What does the bookkeeping service cover – and what not?

Ongoing bookkeeping: you submit your receipts digitally, we record your day-to-day transactions and send you and your tax advisor a monthly overview. Tax advice, annual accounts, tax returns and advance VAT returns are not included – they stay with your tax advisor, and our monthly overview gives them the basis.

What does bookkeeping cost?

Bookkeeping costs from €89.50 a month. The exact price depends on your volume of receipts – how many invoices and receipts you have each month – and is set out in your quote. It works best together with the digital mail service: invoices that arrive at your Berlin address go straight to bookkeeping as scans.

Is this a shell company?

No. A business address is an address with mail service – it does not replace real business activity. For tax purposes, what counts is where your company is actually managed. We decline requests meant to conceal anything.
